We're keeping the traditional art of goldsmithing alive in our bustling workshop, located in central Pukekohe.
With at least one qualified goldsmith on-site at all times, there's always someone to assist you with your design, manufacture and repair needs.

Our specialties include one-off hand-made pieces, restoration, remodeling, CAD design, and an extensive repair service.
All work is carried out on-site, so precious family heirlooms are always safe and sound. All items while in our care are kept under extensive surveillance, a monitored alarm system, and within a fireproof vault.
We love what we do and welcome you to come along and watch us in action!

Penny Harwood
Originally a winemaker from Marlborough, and now a long-term Franklin local, Penny has been a jeweller for 19 years and the owner/operator of Harwood Goldsmiths since its inception 10 years ago.
On rare occasions when she's not working on designs or playing with gold and diamonds in her workshop, you'll find her eating delicious food somewhere with friends and family, or walking with the other love of her life - her dog.
Ryo Takano
Ryo is one of the most creative people you'll ever meet. He's a qualified hairstylist, makeup and special effects artist, and a sculptor. He's settled into his career as a fine jeweller and has seven years experience in the jewellery trade. We're so fortunate to have had him on our team for six years now.
His wicked sense of humour has us in stitches every day!
Ryo's little girl turns 3 this year and when lucky enough to have spare time, he likes to snowboard and play basketball.

Our on-site “lab assistant” works part time with us helping with customer greetings, store security, stress relief and general cuteness. She loves walks with her Mum, crunchy treats and naps with her blanket. She is our most treasured gem in store.
